Preparation & serving

How to make a hot brew

  • Put 10-15 buds in a kettle
  • Pour boiling water
  • Let it seep for 2-3 mins
  • Strain and pour in a cup

Refrigerate the strained infusion to make the perfect cold brews.
Or add cold water and infuse for 10 minutes to make cold brews ideal for cocktails.

Serving: 10-15 buds per 100 ml

Origin & processing

Our Lavender tea comes from farmers across remote villages in Kashmir. Our ethical sourcing process helps these farmers get a fair price without intermediaries. We also incentivize new farmers to start lavender farming in the region to gain additional income using any fallow or abandoned land even if small in size.
These farmers grow lavender without any chemicals, in the wild. Even the process of harvesting is completely manual. The lavender flowers are also dried using the traditional practice of shade-drying without the use of any industrial machine.

Health benefits

Lavender tea, derived from the dried buds of the lavender plant (Lavandula angustifolia), offers not only a delightful floral aroma but also a range of potential health benefits. Here are some of the key health benefits associated with lavender tea:

Calming and Stress Relief: Lavender tea is renowned for its calming properties. The presence of compounds like linalool and linalyl acetate contributes to its soothing effects, making it an excellent choice for relaxation and stress relief. A warm cup of lavender tea before bedtime may promote better sleep and reduce anxiety.

Improved Sleep Quality: Lavender tea is often used as a natural remedy for sleep disorders. The calming effects of lavender may help alleviate insomnia and promote better sleep quality. Enjoying a cup of lavender tea in the evening can be part of a relaxing bedtime routine.

Antioxidant Properties: Lavender contains antioxidants that help combat oxidative stress in the body. Antioxidants play a crucial role in neutralizing free radicals, which, when left unchecked, can contribute to various health issues, including chronic diseases.

Anti-Inflammatory Effects: The anti-inflammatory properties of lavender tea may help reduce inflammation in the body. Chronic inflammation is linked to various health conditions, and incorporating anti-inflammatory foods, like lavender tea, into your diet may contribute to overall well-being.

Digestive Aid: Lavender tea may have mild digestive benefits. It can help soothe the digestive tract, reduce bloating, and alleviate discomfort. Drinking lavender tea after a meal may contribute to a calm and settled stomach.

Headache Relief: The calming and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties of lavender may provide relief from headaches and migraines. A warm cup of lavender tea and inhaling its aroma may help alleviate tension and reduce headache symptoms.

Skin Health: Lavender tea can be beneficial for the skin. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties may contribute to a healthy complexion. Some people use lavender tea topically or apply lavender-infused products for skincare purposes.

Respiratory Support: The aromatic compounds in lavender tea, when inhaled, may provide respiratory benefits. It may help soothe symptoms of respiratory conditions like colds, coughs, and congestion.

Mood Enhancement: The aroma of lavender is believed to have mood-enhancing effects. Inhaling the scent of lavender tea may help uplift mood and contribute to a sense of well-being.

Menstrual Pain Relief: Lavender tea's calming and anti-inflammatory properties may offer relief from menstrual cramps and discomfort. Drinking lavender tea during the menstrual period may help ease symptoms.

While lavender tea can offer these potential health benefits, it's essential to note that individual responses may vary. It's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have existing health conditions or are pregnant, before incorporating lavender tea into your routine. Additionally, moderation is key, as excessive consumption may lead to adverse effects.

    Lavender is the best!!!

I love this flower, I mix it will all my drinks just by infusing, even non-tea beverages. My recommendation is blue pea with lavender. I keep a small box with me in my office and mix it with all my green tea and beverages.

    Fragrant Brew

The lavender bud flower tea is amazing!!! It smells divine and has a very soothing effect. I also purchased hibiscus and blue pea but haven't tried them yet. Thanks to the founder Mr. Nishit to recommend these to me.

    Butterfly Brew

The blue pea flower tea from Vannh is my favorite of the lot, especially because of its brilliant blue color. I have also used hibiscus, chamomile and lemongrass. The fact that these herbs come as dried leaves and not in tea bags is a plus for me, as tea bags supposedly contain microplastics.
