For those who may have missed the Parade, in a captivating display of innovation and agricultural promotion, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) presented a tableau at the 75th Republic Day Parade in Delhi, focusing on the "Purple Revolution" to encourage the farming of lavender in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
As the CSIR tableau made its way down Rajpath, it left a lasting impression—a vision of Jammu & Kashmir adorned with the hues and fragrance of lavender. The Purple Revolution, showcased on Republic Day 2024, holds the promise of transforming not just the agricultural landscape but also the socio-economic fabric of the region.
